Physical development, skill,
self-confidence... and fun!

Physical Fitness

Chidhood obesity is an epidemic. Physical activity is vital to our children´s health and well-being. While most kids are opposed to structured exercise, anyone can enter our gym and find laughing, happy children having fun as they are participating in a physically challenging sport.

Motor Skills

Children in gymnastics learn how to control their bodies to become physically aware and coordinated. Gymnastics is the sport that enhances all sports– the skills they learn at Youngsters, Inc. can help them to improve their performance in other sports as well.

Self-Discipline

In any given gymnastics class you will find a group of children who are following an instructor, taking turns, and using listening skills. Our founder, Olympic Medalist Guard Young, found value in these life skills for himself and also for his young children. "As I watched my 2 year-old son in his preschool gymnastics class, I was blown away that a rowdy, hyper little boy was capable of listening to his instructor, waiting in line, and then actually doing what his instructor had said. I knew that gymnastics had given me discipline, but now as a parent, I find this aspect of the sport invaluable."

Self-Confidence

There is a strong feeling of contentment and self-worth in children who have learned how to control their bodies and have worked hard to attain a goal. Gymnastics is an ideal way to nurture these important qualities. We strive for each child to do their personal best and recognize their personal improvement. All our participants are winners!

As a second generation Olympic athlete, Guard Young understands the importance of teaching proper form and technique from the very start.
