Guard´s Accomplishments

•   2004 placed 5th at the 2004 Olympic Trials making his seventh Sr. National Team and his first Olympic Team. Won the USA's first silver medal, in Men's Gymnastics, at the 2004 Athens Olympic Summer Games.

•   2003 placed 7th at the USA National Championships making his sixth Sr. National Team and third World Championship Team. Helped coached the University of Oklahoma to 1st place at the 2003 NCAA National Championships.

•   2002 placed 3rd at the USA National Championships making his fifth Sr. National Team and second World Championship Team. Helped coached the University of Oklahoma to 1st place at the 2002 NCAA National Championships.

•   2001 placed 5th at the USA National Championships making his fourth Sr. National Team and first World Championship Team. Won the USA's first Team Silver medal at the 2001 World Championships in Ghent, Belgium.

•   2000 placed 5th at USA National Championships making his third Sr. National Team. Placed 10th at the 2000 Olympic Trials and 1st on Vault at the NCAA National Championships.

•   1999 placed 4th at USA National Championships making his second Sr. National Team. Placed 1st on Vault at both the NCAA and USA National Championships.

•   1998 placed 10th at USA National Championships making his first Sr. National Team.

•   1996 placed 1st at National Championships Jr. Division making his third Jr. National Team and awarded a full scholarship to Brigham Young University.

•   1995 placed 3rd at Jr. Olympic National championships making his second Jr. National Team. Competes at his first international competition in Cali, Colombia.

•   1994 placed 6th at Jr. Olympic National Championships making his first Jr. National Team and placed 1st on floor Exercise.

•   1993 placed 18th at Jr. Olympic National Championships making his first all-star team.

•   1992 placed 100th at Jr. Olympic National Championships competing his first national championships.
